School uniforms are a key way of developing a sense of togetherness among students and staff. Our pupils are proud of their school uniform and each class wants to look smart. When students all wear the same clothing every day at school, it levels out the playing field. Any expectations on what to wear are removed and children develop a greater sense of equality.
Our uniform expectations are:
- Royal Blue Cardigan/ Jumper
- Black School trousers
- Black School skirts/dress
- Black School shorts
- Black Footwear
- Blue Royal polo shirt
- Leggings
Year 6 only:
- Black Blazer
- Royal Blue Tie available from Vortex
- White School shirt

To make it clear, the following items are not part of school uniform:
- Jogging bottoms
- Hoodies
- White trainers
Children should not wear branded clothing as part of their school uniform if the brand name is identifiable, for example; Nike trainers or River Island skirts.
Your child’s PE kit should be as below:
- White t-shirt (plain/no logos)
- Black or navy joggers/shorts/leggings
- Black or navy hoodie/fleece (in colder months)
- Trainers
PE is statutory and all children are expected to participate unless there are medical needs that prevent this. To ensure children have their PE for all sessions we advise this is brought into school on a Monday and taken home Friday. Parents will be contacted where children repeatedly do not bring it, each class does have a set of spare kit.
You are able to buy our uniform in most high street shops including Asda, Tesco, Matalan, Aldi to name but a few. If you wish to purchase uniform with a logo you are able to from Vortex directly or via our School Office.
