School Meals

Our school lunches are excellent!

Chartwells are the school lunch provider for the school.

Children can choose from a variety of different options:

  1. Hot Dinner
  2. ‘Grab-a-Bag’
  3. Jacket Potato/Pasta Pot

Should your child not wish to eat a school lunch, we ask that you provide a healthy packed lunch in a suitable container with your child’s name on. Water or fruit juice should be provided in a suitable container. Fizzy pop is not permitted. We have achieved our Silver Healthy School Award and would appreciate your support by discouraging children from bringing sweets and chocolate to school in their lunch boxes.

Dinner monies should be paid using the My Ed App and current charges are £11.00 per week (£2.20 per day). Please ask about using the My Ed App at the School Office.

Please click on the link to below to access the How to…Make Payments with the My Ed App guide.

Children staying for lunch are not allowed off school premises during the lunch break.

Free milk is available to children from families under Scheme of Aid and in Nursery. Milk is available to other children if required and must be paid for at the beginning of each term September, January and April.

For more information regarding milk money, please log on to School Milk UK. This will give you all the information you need and the figure to pay.

Drinks and snacks

Children should have a fresh bottle of water in school every day. Facilities are available in school where children can refill them at lunchtime and playtimes. Please do not fill water bottles with juice.

Children in KS1 are provided with a free piece of fruit daily and children in KS2 are encouraged to bring a snack from home.
